You can see the difference in the output after the rounding in the picture below vs. Here’s the rounding function, I’m sure there’s a better way to do this. ![]() It’s not perfect, but it worked best for me. 5 which basically meant which of the two steps for that number it should be at. That way the number before the decimal was basically what I was shooting for on the Forza scale, and the number after the decimal was either. The only thing is I didn’t exactly display them from 0.00 to 1.00 but rather 0.0 – 100.0 and just did the conversion in my head when entering in the color values. I made a quick little rounding function that’d take the existing HSV values and spit them out the way I wanted them for Forza. So at this point I was able to enter in a starting and ending color, the number of steps, and have it output that number of HSV color values that made the gradient. As for the alpha, I just left that as an input but would always enter 255 to more or less ignore it. As this was just a quick and dirty tool, I wasn’t too interested in learning the details of how to convert RGB to HSV and it just worked. ![]() For the colors being in HSV, I left the inputs as RGB, I ever calculated all of the steps in RGB, but right before I printed out all of the colors for each step, I converted it to HSV using a small snippet of code I found online. ![]() ![]() So that made for some interesting change of plans but didn’t really get too complicated. As I started getting to the point where I’d be throwing color values into Forza, I realized two things.Ģ.) There’s no way to add alpha to the color in Forza, at least that I knew of. Originally for the colors, I had Red, Green, Blue and Alpha for inputs. Oh before I go any further, I guess now’s as good of time as any to mention that this project is just a plain ol’ boring C# console application but it does get the job done.
